Blossom through the Cloud is a Chinese romance and aviation drama starring Liu Xie Ning and Miles Wei. Adapted from the web novel Jiang Luo Wo Xin Shang, by Qiao Yao, the series has 24 episodes running approximately 45 minutes each. It is set to premiere on August 31, 2026 on MangoTV and Hunan TV. In Brazil, the production is coming to Viki under the title Blossom through the Cloud.
Directed by Zheng Shilong, written by Ou Guanying and Qiao Yao, and overseen by Fu Dongyu, the drama was filmed in Qingdao between June and September 2025. The production brings together Hunan TV, MangoTV, and Chinese companies including 24 Frames Culture for a story set in the civil aviation industry.
Ruan Si Xian’s return to Hengshi Airlines
Ruan Si Xian works as a flight attendant at Hengshi Airlines, but her goal has always been to fly aircraft. The opportunity seems close when the company plans to train pilots from within its own workforce. However, a sudden change in that policy eliminates the position she had hoped to secure.
When she tries to explain her situation to Fu Ming Yu, the company’s vice president, Ruan Si Xian becomes caught up in a misunderstanding that gains traction within the airline. Frustrated by the professional decision and the rumors, she resigns and decides to fund her own training at an aviation academy.

Three years later, Ruan Si Xian graduates at the top of her class and is sought after by different airlines. Fu Ming Yu, who is preparing Hengshi Airlines for the arrival of new aircraft and expanding its pilot team, goes to the academy to recruit talent and must convince her to return.
Her return puts the protagonist through rigorous evaluations, the pressure of working in an industry still marked by prejudice, and challenges caused by internal changes at the company.
Fu Ming Yu also faces resistance as he attempts to reform the airline. Amid flight incidents, career decisions, and old mistrust, the two begin to reassess their impressions of one another, without reducing Ruan Si Xian’s career to romance.
